Former musical festival performers seemed to agree.

“I don’t really see the Savannah Music Festival as a local festival," said Etienne Charles, who performed at the festival last year. "I see it as an international festival, I mean there are acts from all over the planet.”

This year's acts include more than 80 artists. They hail from as close as Atlanta and as far as Africa.
